When tractor-trailers are involved in collisions, many components come into play. Our job as Engineers at BEC Consulting is to piece together the puzzle through the interpretation of evidence. Scene documentation, witness accounts, advanced testing and high tech animations make each reconstruction possible. Our highly developed and trained engineers merge these superior technological procedures with traditional physics to recreate accident scenes in a clear and comprehensible manner. At BEC Consulting, we have done extensive tractor-trailer reconstruction through airbrake analysis, slack adjuster testing, ECM downloads, cab safety testing, underride and override accidents and much more. We have analyzed the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) and can apply these regulations, as well as the CDL driver training information, to the analysis of the accident.
