Charles E. Benedict

Dr. Benedict is the CEO and founder of BEC Consulting, LLC, a subsidiary of BEC Companies, Inc. He has a wealth of experience in the field of project and machine design and forensic engineering. Dr. Benedict graduated from Florida State University in 1963 with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in engineering science. He returned to the University of Florida in 1968 and graduated with a B.S. M.S. and Ph.D. with high honors in 1971 in Electromechanical engineering.

Dr. Benedict has wealth of experience in product and machine designs, biomechanics, occupant kinematics, vehicle restraint systems, material handling, patent infringement, automobile, pedestrian, and trucking accidents, general engineering, and electromechanical product design. He has extensive experience testifying as an expert witness in Federal and State Courts in multiple states and some foreign countries.

He is also has designed, developed, and/or manufacture over 65 product and machine systems. He holds over 150 patients, many of which resulted from correcting product and machine deficits as a forensic engineer.

He loves spending time with his wife Abbie and their dog Minxie. He and his wife love traveling the world together.
